What is ZS-Coal Saving Agent?

ZS-Coal Saving Agent is a specialized additive for coal-fired equipment such as cement kilns and boilers. Added during the coal combustion process, it significantly improves combustion efficiency and thermal efficiency through its combustion-assisting, catalytic, and sulfur-fixing effects, greatly reducing SO₂ emissions while achieving coal saving and emission reduction.

How Does It Work?

Lowering Ignition Point: The oxidizing and combustion-promoting components lower the activation energy of carbon-carbon bond breaking, thereby lowering the ignition point of coal and indirectly increasing volatile matter content for earlier combustion.

Improving Burnout Rate: Under stable grate speed, it prolongs combustion time and improves the coal burnout rate.

Forming Oxygen-Enriched Combustion: After pre-spraying, the agent penetrates into the coal. When heated, oxygen-enriching components release oxygen, forming localized oxygen-enriched combustion around coal surfaces. Metal oxide catalysts continuously absorb and release oxygen, accelerating oxygen transmission between air and coal.

A: You can see kiln temperature increase and coal consumption decrease after 8 hours of normal feeding. Stable and optimal results are achieved after 3 days of continuous use.

Q: What is the application scope of this product?

A: It is suitable for all types of lignite, bituminous coal, anthracite, and coke. It can be used in pulverized coal injection boilers, chain furnaces, kilns, and other coal-fired equipment. It is especially effective for low calorific value coal (4000-5000 kcal/kg) with high ash content.

Q: How should the product be stored?

A: It is a weakly alkaline liquid. Store in a sealed plastic container at -5℃ to 40℃.

7. Usage Guidelines

For Cement Plants: Generally added by pumping. Two methods: injecting through the kiln head coal injection nozzle oil pipe, or adding on the conveyor belt for grinding together with coal. Calibrate metering pump based on rotary kiln output and dosage rate.

For Boilers and Other Coal-Fired Equipment: Install a nozzle above the conveyor belt or coal hopper.
