How Does It Work?

Electrostatic Repulsion: The agent adsorbs onto the surface of cement particles, carrying the same negative charge. The particles repel each other, breaking up cement flocs and releasing the free water trapped within the flocs.

Steric Hindrance: The polycarboxylate side chains form a three-dimensional barrier layer, preventing cement particles from agglomerating again and maintaining the fluidity of the slurry.

Hydration Retardation: Adsorbed on the surface of C₃S and C₃A, it forms an adsorption layer, moderately delaying early cement hydration, controlling slump loss, and extending the workable time for construction.
