ZS-PCA High Performance Water Reducer provides customers with optimized, customized products and technical solutions based on actual engineering needs. This series of products can significantly reduce the water-cement ratio, save cement usage, and improve concrete strength and durability. It significantly improves the slump retention of concrete over time, enhances workability, reduces pumping viscosity, and improves pumping efficiency and construction quality. It has strong adaptability to cement and mineral admixtures with low sensitivity.

How Does It Work?

Electrostatic Repulsion: The agent adsorbs onto the surface of cement particles, giving them the same negative charge. The particles repel each other, breaking up cement flocs and releasing the free water trapped within.

Steric Hindrance: The polycarboxylate side chains form a three-dimensional barrier layer, preventing cement particles from agglomerating again and maintaining continuous dispersion and water retention.

Delayed Hydration: It moderately delays early cement hydration, controls slump loss, and extends the workable time before construction.

Q: Is this product high in chloride and alkali? Will it corrode steel reinforcement?

A: No. Chloride ion content is ≤0.1%, meeting national standards. It is low in chlorine and alkali, does not corrode steel reinforcement, and does not cause efflorescence on concrete.

Q: Can ZS-PCA be used together with concrete synergist?

A: Yes, the two can be added separately. The water reducer reduces water and increases strength, while the synergist activates admixtures to further save cement. The combined cost reduction effect is optimal.

Q: How should ZS-PCA be packaged and stored?

A: It can be transported by tanker truck or in 1000kg plastic drums. Custom packaging is available upon request. Shelf life is 1 year. If sedimentation occurs within the shelf life, stirring before use will not affect performance.

7. Usage Guidelines

Calibration: Install a dedicated metering pump. Add ZS-PCA at 0.18%–0.22% of total cementitious material mass (1.8kg – 2.2kg per ton). Direct metering can be used when no lift is required; a two-stage pumping method is used when the feeding height needs to be increased.

Application Point: Add to the mixer simultaneously with mixing water. Do not mix directly with dry materials.
