ZS-Cement Cr(VI) Reduction Grinding Aid is a dual-function grinding admixture developed by Shengchuan based on actual cement production processes, raw material characteristics, and environmental conditions in China. It combines grinding aid enhancement with hexavalent chromium reduction in a single agent, simultaneously achieving mill output increase, strength improvement, power savings, and water-soluble Cr⁶⁺ compliance—without the need for separate chromium reducer addition.

How Does It Work?

The process consists of two compatible reactions within a single agent:

Grinding Aid and Strengthening: Surfactants eliminate powder agglomeration, improving grinding efficiency; alkanolamines promote the hydration of clinker and admixtures, increasing the early and late strength of cement.

Chromium Reduction and Curing: The reducing component converts water-soluble hexavalent chromium into trivalent chromium, forming a stable precipitate in the strongly alkaline environment of cement and locking it in. A long-lasting antioxidant stannous reduction system ensures that chromium levels do not rebound during long-term storage.

The reagent maintains internal acid-base balance, ensuring that the two functions do not cancel each other out—one agent simultaneously delivers production increase, strengthening, and low chromium compliance.
