ZS-Hexavalent Chromium Reducer is a specialized cement additive added during grinding. It reduces toxic, water-soluble hexavalent chromium (Cr⁶⁺) in cement into low-toxicity, water-insoluble trivalent chromium (Cr³⁺), which is then固化 in the cement stone. It reduces water-soluble Cr⁶⁺ to below 2 ppm, meeting both Chinese national standards and EU regulations, without affecting cement strength or workability.
How Does It Work?
Reduction Transformation: The effective reducing components convert water-soluble toxic Cr⁶⁺ into low-toxicity, water-insoluble Cr³⁺.
Stable Solidification: Cr³⁺ combines with hydroxyl radicals in the system to form chromium hydroxide precipitate, tightly embedded in cement hydration products.

7. Usage Guidelines
Addition Point: Cement grinding head belt, mill clinker discharge port. Continuous定量 addition with a small metering pump.
Operation Steps:
① Use the product directly without water dilution.
② Set pump flow rate based on cement Cr⁶⁺ test values, add at 100-200g/t cement.
③ Enter the mill together with clinker, gypsum, and SCMs for uniform mixing.
④ Sample every 2 hours to test water-soluble Cr⁶⁺, and fine-tune metering pump dosage.
Storage: Store sealed and protected from freezing. Avoid mixing with alkaline agents and grinding aid solutions.
